EAK claims first podium on the Hyundai R5 in Cedars Rally

Eddy Abou Karam and co-driver Joseph Kmeid claimed their first podium on the new Hyundai i20 R5 as they powered to 3rd place overall in the 26th Cedars Rally, the third and penultimate round of the 2017 Lebanese Rally Championship.

Despite struggling with the brakes on the high speed sections, EAK drove a consistent race to secure his fourth straight podium position at the Cedars Rally. The rally consisted of 9 special stages that were divided into 3 loops of 3 stages.

Eddy currently holds 2nd place overall in the Lebanese Rally Championship and aims to maintain that position at the end of next month’s Rally of Lebanon, in which he wants to push the package further.
